The plate installs onto the three mounting studs attached to the headlight panel. The factory LED headlights have this bracket built into the housing of the headlight and will need to be removed from the Jeep to get the factory headlights out. Once this removal is completed you'll be set up to install your new bracket and retaining ring before moving on to your new LED headlights.
